We are seeking a strategic and collaborative HR Business Partner to guide our HR initiatives and serve as a vital advisor to our leadership team in Canada. Reporting directly to the VP of HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in aligning our business objectives with HR strategies to enhance performance across various channels, including wholesale, retail, franchise, and e-commerce, while supporting over 300 employees and contributing to $200MM in revenue.
This role is hybrid, requiring presence in our office three times a week.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the US & Canada Leadership Team to establish goals and ensure that Canadian business objectives are effectively integrated.
- Cultivating a High-Performance Culture: Lead initiatives in talent planning, acquisition, and development to foster a diverse and capable workforce while nurturing future leaders.
- Enhancing Employee Engagement: Create and implement strategies that promote a positive work environment through effective communication and policies.
- Expert HR Leadership: Provide mentorship and development opportunities to your HRBP Manager, guiding your team in delivering exceptional HR solutions.
- Compliance Expertise: Stay informed on Canadian HR regulations and work with the legal team to mitigate risks and ensure adherence.
- Collaborative Approach: Build strong relationships across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for our Canadian operations.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in HR leadership with a solid grasp of talent and performance management.
- Proven ability to build and lead effective HR teams.
- Strong partnership skills with business leaders to achieve shared objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Familiarity with Canadian employment law is advantageous.
- Willingness to be present in the office three days a week for collaboration.
