Position Overview

Fleetex Transport Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Logistician to oversee and enhance our operational logistics. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless flow of transportation activities and optimizing our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Co-ordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics performance.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and machinery.
  • Maintenance: Arrange for necessary maintenance and repair work.
  • Problem Solving: Address work-related issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements for productivity and quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train new employees, while conducting performance evaluations.
  • Work Assignment: Co-ordinate, assign, and review tasks among team members.
  • Resource Management: Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Logistics Oversight: Plan, organize, and supervise the logistical operations of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage a team of 3-4 individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

Technical Proficiency

Proficient in the following software:

  • MS Outlook
  • MS Project
  • MS Access
  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Word
  • MS Windows
Work Environment

Experience Requirements
