Freson Bros., a locally owned and operated fresh food retail chain in Alberta, is seeking a dedicated Support Analyst to enhance our team at the Operations Office.

Key Qualifications:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Experience with Active Directory, including account creation and group management
  • Familiarity with various ISPs, Firewalls, and EDR/MDR systems
  • Understanding of enterprise networks and their organizational impact
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in computer science, networking, or security is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in support roles, particularly with retail software, is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver frontline technical assistance to end users
  • Address technical inquiries and requests, ensuring follow-up until resolution
  • Create and manage user accounts across various systems
  • Prioritize and triage support requests for other teams
  • Document incident responses and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and update internal documentation
  • Track software and hardware licenses
  • Create FAQs and knowledge base articles for self-service support
  • Deploy and install hardware and software solutions
  • Assist with hardware installation, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Implement updates and patches as necessary
  • Support hardware rollouts to various locations
  • Engage in the evaluation and selection of IT tools and software
  • Stay informed about current technology trends
  • Report directly to the IT Director

Position Overview:

  • Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
