About the Role

Haven Stony Plain is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Perform routine surgeries and procedures
  • Provide preventive care and health education
  • Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
