Key Responsibilities

Our Licensed Practical Nurses deliver healthcare services to individuals of all ages in their residences and various community settings throughout Nova Scotia.

  • Management of diabetes
  • Dialysis procedures
  • Medication oversight
  • Palliative care support
  • Phlebotomy services
  • Wound care, including advanced techniques for complex wounds

Qualifications Required

  • Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse designation in the relevant province
  • Experience in community health is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle are essential
  • A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check is mandatory, along with potential Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks
  • Ability to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required
