We are seeking a Data Scientist who possesses a robust background in data analytics, practical expertise in Demand Forecasting, and resource allocation within supply chains, coupled with strong programming skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply cutting-edge data science techniques to address business challenges in the supply chain and optimization sectors of retail and/or CPG.
  • Employ advanced statistical methods and data science algorithms to analyze extensive datasets, generating actionable insights related to inventory allocation and replenishment optimization.
  • Design and execute Demand Forecasting models to enhance inventory management, minimize stockouts, and optimize resource distribution across the supply chain.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and best practices in data science, Demand Forecasting, and supply chain management, utilizing this knowledge to foster innovation within the organization.
  • Engage with, mentor, and learn alongside a growing team of skilled Data Scientists.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, emphasizing Demand Forecasting and inventory allocation.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related discipline.
  • A solid grasp of statistical methodologies, optimization strategies, and predictive modeling concepts.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, and SQL, along with experience in data analysis and machine learning libraries.
  • Capability to apply various analytical models to real-world business scenarios.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to understand the needs of business partners and deliver solutions effectively.
