Lead Cost Estimator

Position Overview
In the role of a Senior Cost Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed Construction Cost Estimate reports for a variety of projects
- Overseeing estimating and cost planning processes
- Implementing Value Management strategies
- Conducting post-contract cost oversight, including analysis of change orders
- Engaging in Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing initiatives
- Collaborating with clients and consulting teams
- Leading a team focused on cost management
- Analyzing construction market trends
- Managing project finances and commissions
Core Responsibilities at Senior Consultant Level:
- Driving Business Development efforts
- Overseeing staff management
- Facilitating recruitment processes
- Managing knowledge resources
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction cost consultancy is essential.
- A University Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Membership in relevant Professional Organizations
- Government reliability clearance is preferred
- Familiarity with CostX software is advantageous
