As a key member of the Undergraduate Admissions team, the Administrative and Technical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer applicant data through various technical processes and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide executive and team assistance to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and other members of the admissions team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data entry and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and database applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and faculty.

Requirements

  • High level of technical proficiency in working with computer systems, programs, and data files.
  • Ability to work with full range of standard office equipment and software.
  • Analytic skills, attention to detail, and ability to concentrate in a busy environment.
  • Quality control-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and private information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures.
  • SAS, FAST, Banner, BRM (or other CRM product) experience.
  • Two or more years of post-secondary education.
