Job Title: Payroll and Finance Coordinator

Banyan Software is a rapidly growing global software acquirer with 56+ operating companies, and we are seeking an experienced Payroll Integrations Manager to join our team in Toronto.

Job Summary:

The Payroll Integrations Manager will oversee and ensure the smooth integration of payroll processes following acquisitions of new software companies. This role will act as a liaison between the payroll team, legal department, M&A team, and benefits team to guarantee compliance and streamline onboarding for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, analyzing payroll systems and processes of target companies to identify gaps, risks, and integration opportunities.
  • Lead the post-acquisition payroll integration for acquired companies, ensuring smooth migration to Banyan's payroll platforms.
  • Implement payroll systems and processes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations across various regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Work closely with Human Resources teams to ensure alignment on payroll operations, employee data, and benefits integration.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize payroll processes across the organization, ensuring efficient workflows and the successful integration of new companies into Banyan's payroll structure.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll systems management, with a strong focus on payroll integration and post-acquisition implementation for a large, multinational organization.
  • Extensive experience with payroll software and systems such as ADP, Dayforce, or similar platforms.
  • Proven track record of working on payroll integrations during mergers and acquisitions, including experience with due diligence assessments and post-acquisition payroll implementations.
  • Strong experience working alongside Human Resources teams, ensuring payroll processes align with HR policies, employee data management, and benefits integration.
