About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at 1427279 Alberta Ltd. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a tidy workspace.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Customer Service: Provide recommendations on drink selections, take orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, and ensure a positive experience for all customers.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages and operate a cash register.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and maintain a bondable and criminal record check status.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work.
  • Language: Be fluent in English.
  • Work Experience: Have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
