Job Summary
We're looking for a talented Bartender to join our team at Alchemy, a sophisticated cocktail bar located in the heart of the city. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve expertly crafted cocktails to our discerning guests
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all patrons
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety
- Collaborate with the bar team to ensure seamless service and efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cocktail trends and techniques, continuously improving your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Safe Serve Certification
- Previous experience as a bartender in a similar environment
- Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Special Events program (an asset)
- Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is required; WSET certification preferred
- Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes
