**Job Summary**

OPENLANE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Lot Attendant to join our team in Stony Mountain, Manitoba. As a key member of our auction team, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale, ensuring their safety and condition, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Vehicle Preparation**: Prepare vehicles for auction or shipping by searching, moving, and parking them in allocated areas.
  • **Vehicle Maintenance**: Ensure vehicles are in working order by driving a service vehicle and servicing breakdowns, including boosting, attending to lockouts, snow removal, towing, supplying gas and air.
  • **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
  • **Safety and Maintenance**: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, and reporting incidents to management immediately.
  • **Teamwork**: Practice and promote teamwork at all times, setting a good personal example of attitude and performance.
  • **Record Keeping**: Record all vehicle movements according to company requirements.

**Requirements**

  • **Transportation**: Have own transportation, as public transportation is not available.
  • **Driver's License**: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive standard vehicles.
  • **Weather Conditions**: Must be willing to work in various weather conditions, with winter gear provided.
  • **Criminal Record**: Must not have a motor vehicle record or criminal record that does not meet company policy minimum standards.
  • **Physical Ability**: Must be physically capable of performing all role-related tasks.
  • **Teamwork and Customer Service**: Proven ability to work well in a team environment, with good customer service skills.
  • **Organization and Attention to Detail**: Well-organized, accurate worker with an eye for detail.
  • **Driving Ability**: Ability to safely drive all makes and models of vehicles.
