We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Grab and Go Indian Kitchen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train new staff members in job duties, kitchen procedures, and safety protocols.
- Operations Management
- Establish and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet production demands.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on quality and customer service.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
