Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of woodworking machine operators to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Train and develop the skills of team members to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Operations Management
- Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and control the use of materials, equipment, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet our high standards.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or defects.
- Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on production progress, quality issues, and team performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a woodworking or manufacturing environment.
- Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of woodworking processes and equipment.
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
