Position Overview

As a Laundry Service Specialist, you play a vital role in ensuring that our linens meet the expectations of our guests. Your contribution is essential in shaping the initial impression guests have of our establishment. The quality and cleanliness of our linens significantly impact the overall satisfaction of each visitor.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest interactions and effectively address any guest concerns. Ensure that guest linens, communal areas, and storage spaces are impeccably organized for optimal first impressions. Prepare for shifts by ensuring the laundry room is well-organized and stocked, including maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring cleanliness. Monitor maintenance and repairs of laundry equipment and keep an updated inventory of laundry supplies. Respect guest property and privacy; follow lost and found protocols for items discovered in guest areas. Understand and adhere to all emergency procedures for the establishment. Applicants MUST have reliable transportation, as public transit options are not available. Applicants MUST have flexible availability for both weekends and weekdays.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or hospitality is advantageous. Proficiency in English is required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Working Environment

This role may require working extended hours and/or weekends to accommodate fluctuating business demands. The position is set in a dynamic environment that necessitates continuous physical activity and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates should be prepared for periods of independent work and must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
