About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreational Programs Manager to join our team at Okanagan Gymnastics Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our recreational programming, including class and staff scheduling, program and team communications, special events, camps, and program promotion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of recreational programs for children and adults
  • Manage a team of staff, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze program metrics to inform decision-making
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote programs and services
Requirements
  • NCCP Active Start/Foundations certified or Comp1/Level 2 trained gymnastics coach
  • Cleared criminal record check – vulnerable sector
  • Completion of Respect in Sport
  • Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C beneficial
  • Prior experience as a Recreational Director or Coordinator, experience with program planning and/or managing staff and/or administrative experience would be an asset
