About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at A&R epoxy Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of floor coverings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and precise markings.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
  • Hardwood Installation: Prepare and install hardwood floors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, using knee kickers and other equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills and organized approach to work.
Work Environment
  • On-the-Road Job: Willing to travel and work on-site at various locations.
  • Work Schedule: 32 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
