As a key leader within our operations team, you will foster a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all supervisors and associates receive comprehensive training and development to meet operational objectives.
  • Establishing clear performance standards and providing regular feedback to drive associate growth and success.
  • Conducting interviews and making recommendations for new hires, contributing to a talented and engaged workforce.
  • Monitoring attendance, productivity, and overall performance, offering coaching and guidance to associates as needed.
  • Motivating and inspiring your team by recognizing achievements and fostering a collaborative spirit.

Operational Excellence

You will play a vital role in optimizing our warehouse operations:

  • Supervising daily logistics activities, including customer service, freight handling, dispatch, and documentation management.
  • Leading team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address any operational challenges.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance warehouse efficiency.
  • Providing relief coverage for operational duties during associate absences or time off.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of our operating systems to ensure compliance and efficient exception resolution.

Financial Responsibility

You will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to financial policies and procedures, including inventory accuracy, returns management, and damage control.
  • Understanding the impact of operational decisions on profitability and working to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency.
  • Effectively managing associate work hours and activities to optimize productivity and minimize overtime expenses.

Safety Champion

Your commitment to safety is paramount:

  • Ensuring daily operations and associate activities align with our comprehensive safety strategy.
  • Providing associates with clear communication, training, feedback, and direction to promote safe work practices.
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company safety policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular safety observations to identify potential hazards and ensure a secure working environment.

Customer Focus

You will strive to exceed customer expectations:

  • Understanding our location-specific customer goals and objectives, working diligently to meet and surpass them daily.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Identifying areas for continuous improvement to enhance the overall customer experience.

Fleet & Asset Management

You will oversee:

  • Effective planning of work assignments to ensure optimal utilization of warehouse equipment.
  • Working with associates to ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
  • Collaborating with vendors to maintain equipment in excellent working condition.
