About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Giant Tiger as a key member of our HR team. As the Head of HR Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our HR processes are compliant with legal and regulatory standards while being efficient and continuously improving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Head of HR Operations to develop and implement new processes, identify and map existing HR processes, and redesign them to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the HR Shared Service Center.
  2. Implement best practices in HR service delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Implement and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate HR support. Regularly review performance metrics and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  4. Work closely with HRIS, HR business partners, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of HR services and change initiatives.
  5. Ensure all HR processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee the integrity of HR data within systems, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.
  6. Working alongside HRIS, create and analyze HR metrics and dashboards. Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of HR Operations to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  4. Proven ability in project management and process improvement methodologies.
  5. Proficient in HRIS and other relevant technology platforms (Workday preferred).
  6. Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  1. Bilingual English and French.
  2. HR certification (e.g., CHRP).
