Job Title: Investment Analyst

Join National Bank Financial – Wealth Management as an Investment Analyst and be part of a team of 1,000 investment advisors in the 5th largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. In this role, you will use your analytical mind and passion for finance to have a positive impact on our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to strategically manage client investments and provide expert advice to help them achieve their financial goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds, and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios.
  • Create and regularly update model portfolios to optimize investment returns.
  • Track portfolio performance and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Produce financial reports to help clients make informed investment decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest economic news and market trends.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to prepare recommendations for new clients.
  • Contribute actively to the preparation of bi-monthly investment committee meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course.
  • CFA and/or CIM designation.
  • Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset.
