Investment Analyst Job Description

At National Bank Financial – Wealth Management, we're seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to join our team of 1,000 investment advisors. As an Investment Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in managing investment portfolios and providing strategic advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange-traded funds, investment funds, and other securities to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Develop and maintain model portfolios to meet client objectives.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates to clients.
  • Prepare financial reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and economic news to inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop investment strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course.
  • CFA and/or CIM designation.
  • Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset management software.
