RhynoCare is seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our team, providing exceptional care in various long-term and acute care settings.

This position offers competitive compensation, including travel allowances and accommodation support.
Shifts will include early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight hours, with a consistent schedule provided until further notice.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care in alignment with established protocols, physician directives, and the individualized care plans for residents.

Employ sound nursing principles to guarantee high-quality nursing and personal care in designated areas.

Facilitate timely and comprehensive admissions for residents, ensuring they receive a thorough orientation to the facility and its services.

Oversee safe and efficient resident transfers and discharges.

Manage the supply, control, and secure handling of medications and narcotics, adhering to all protocols during assigned shifts.

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to address the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.


Qualifications:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Experience working with individuals with Infectious Diseases.
- BLS Certification.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), along with a negative TB skin test within the last year and Hepatitis B documentation.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexibility in shift availability is essential, with shifts ranging from eight (8) to twelve (12) hours in length.

Must be adaptable to float between units as needed based on facility requirements.


Reliability is crucial once availability is confirmed for placement at designated facilities/units.

Compliance with RhynoCare's shift acceptance and cancellation policy is required (details provided upon hiring).
