Life Enrichment Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating activities that cater to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging programs that promote resident participation and well-being.
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Manager to ensure seamless execution of activities and events.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, families, and the community to promote program awareness and participation.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of program attendance, assessments, and evaluations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Minimum of grade 12 education required.
- Prior experience in recreation programming for seniors is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or Gerontology is considered an asset.
- Class 5 operator's license and clean driving record are preferred.
- Certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR is required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential.
- Proven computer literacy and adaptability to handle database programs.
- Dementia experience/knowledge is considered an asset.
