Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our team to develop project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in client meetings and communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate with the field Superintendent for resource allocation.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts for fire stopping, heat trace/insulation, and coring.
  • Coordinate with designers to ensure systems are designed to meet contract needs and building code requirements.
  • Track and participate in drawing submissions and necessary permit applications.
  • Oversee project compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
  • Assist in the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials, including specialty materials.
  • Coordinate with the Shop lead to prepare Fab sheets.
  • Review and interpret contract Terms and Conditions.
  • Complete project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client and accounting department.
  • Send billing information to the accounting department in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate testing and ensure all closeout documents are obtained.
  • Schedule municipal/engineering inspections and ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
  • Update and store all project information on the company's internal network.
  • Ensure company safety policy is being enforced and documentation is provided by the foremen.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in the fire protection industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 10.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experienced in Stakeholder Management.
  • Familiar with industry concepts, terminology, requirements, best-practices, and procedures.
  • Comfortable using various computer programs/software, including Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 CAD per year.
