Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our team to develop project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the company in client meetings and communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate with the field Superintendent for resource allocation.
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts for fire stopping, heat trace/insulation, and coring.
- Coordinate with designers to ensure systems are designed to meet contract needs and building code requirements.
- Track and participate in drawing submissions and necessary permit applications.
- Oversee project compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
- Assist in the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials, including specialty materials.
- Coordinate with the Shop lead to prepare Fab sheets.
- Review and interpret contract Terms and Conditions.
- Complete project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client and accounting department.
- Send billing information to the accounting department in a timely manner.
- Coordinate testing and ensure all closeout documents are obtained.
- Schedule municipal/engineering inspections and ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
- Update and store all project information on the company's internal network.
- Ensure company safety policy is being enforced and documentation is provided by the foremen.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in the fire protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 10.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experienced in Stakeholder Management.
- Familiar with industry concepts, terminology, requirements, best-practices, and procedures.
- Comfortable using various computer programs/software, including Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom.

The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000 CAD per year.
