Operations Manager

Sunrise Farms is a leading poultry industry company with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Alberta, Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the efficient and effective daily and long-term catching, loading, and transporting operations for Sunrise Alberta.
- Direct or work with all personnel, equipment operators, vendors, and producers to ensure timely and safe arrival of poultry to the Lethbridge and Taber processing plants.
- Develop and implement plans to reduce costs and improve performance measurements, including humane handling of poultry and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and motivate a team of catching and loading operations personnel to achieve high standards of performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the Director of Live Operations to resolve issues and ensure effective operations.
- Five years of progressive management experience in the poultry industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead people and get results.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a safety track record.
- Class 3 driver's license or willingness to obtain.
- Availability for off-hour scheduling and emergency issues.
- Ability to travel to farms as required throughout Alberta.
