Job Opportunity
We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Lethbridge location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations to meet stated goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all operational procedures are implemented effectively and completed safely in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policy.
- Identify, correct, and report all non-conformances.
- Provide effective leadership of the team, including development, training, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Liaise with other departments, such as Maintenance, Logistics, and Quality Assurance.
- Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Operations Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience in implementing policy and procedures.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislative requirements.
- Excellent computer, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Able to motivate individuals and teams, and provide one-on-one coaching and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work shift rotation.
