Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriter, you will be instrumental in driving profitable growth through high-quality underwriting with a commercial emphasis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to pinpoint new business prospects.
- Deliver exceptional technical expertise to advisors and clients.
- Assess underwriting files based on client requirements and risk profiles.
- Establish and nurture relationships across various functions and with external partners.
- Serve as a point of escalation for junior underwriters.
- Provide insights derived from market research and analysis.
- Support the maintenance of a compliant underwriting environment.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or relevant certifications are required.
- Over 10 years of experience in commercial insurance is essential.
- Experience in property underwriting is mandatory; additional experience in auto underwriting is a plus.
Language Proficiency
This role necessitates proficiency in languages beyond French to cater to clients with diverse linguistic needs.
