About the Role

Cleantech Service Group Limited is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our buildings, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment, using your technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair, to maintain the appearance and integrity of our buildings.
  • Work with minimal supervision, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to complete tasks independently.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Assist skilled tradespersons as needed, providing support and expertise to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling are required for this role, as you will be working in a variety of environments and positions.
