Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

N.J. Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and meet our high standards.
- Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to provide additional services to our clients, such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
- Receive Payments: Manage the receipt of payments for specialized cleaning services.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other facility maintenance activities.
- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise a Team: Supervise a team of 3-4 cleaning staff.
- Work Under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that our clients are satisfied with our cleaning services.
- Dependability: Demonstrate a high level of dependability and reliability in your work.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in your work, able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Initiative: Take the initiative to identify opportunities to improve our cleaning services and implement changes as needed.
