About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at N.J. Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervision: 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
