Job Overview

Corden Holdings Ltd is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Specialist to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our properties. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and tenants.

Education Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Equivalent experience may be considered

  • Apartment and condominium complexes
  • Office buildings
  • Residential areas
Key Responsibilities

The Building Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to manage debris and refuse
  • Emptying waste containers and maintaining cleanliness
  • Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Performing minor repairs on heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Coordinating with contractors for larger maintenance tasks
  • Conducting safety and security inspections
  • Showing properties to potential tenants
  • Supervising maintenance staff as needed
  • Handling heavy furniture and equipment
  • Executing routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs
  • Caring for plants and outdoor areas
  • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures
  • Managing snow and ice removal from walkways
Experience and Skills

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance roles
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical capability to manage heavy loads (up to 45 kg or 100 lbs)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Working Conditions

This position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Working in all weather conditions
Employment Details

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
