Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as emptying trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Working Conditions:

Work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term. English is the primary language of communication.
