About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Professional to join our team at Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies

Develop policies and procedures to promote business growth and development, including the administration of programs to attract industrial and commercial investment.

Supervise and Manage Teams

Supervise professional and support staff, as well as students, to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Conduct Market Research

Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers to inform marketing strategies.

Develop Business Plans

Develop and implement business plans to promote industrial and commercial investment, including the development of venture capital sources and the recruitment and hiring of staff.

Provide Expert Advice

Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals, as well as conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.

Communicate Effectively

Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles to communicate marketing strategies and results to stakeholders.

Represent the Organization

Act as a spokesperson for the organization, providing expert advice on advertising and sales promotion strategies, and responding to written and oral inquiries.

Coordinate Events

Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions to raise awareness of marketing initiatives and promote business growth.

Develop and Maintain Relationships

Initiate and maintain contact with the media, and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote business growth and development.

Monitor and Evaluate Performance

Conduct analytical marketing studies to monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, and develop feasibility studies to inform business decisions.

Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends

Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Manage Databases

Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites to inform marketing strategies.

Prepare Funding Applications

Prepare funding applications to secure resources for marketing initiatives and business growth.

Deliver Presentations

Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to promote marketing initiatives and business growth.

Supervision

You will supervise a team of 16-20 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
