Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas. This includes conducting market research, analyzing data, and creating marketing materials to support business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of marketing policies and procedures
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote business development initiatives
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, reports, and social media content
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team
  • Assist in the coordination of special events and promotions
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data to assess market trends and consumer behavior
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners and community leaders
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field
  • College/CEGEP diploma or degree in marketing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software
