About the Role

As a Marketing Coordinator at Avalon Community College, you will be responsible for administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas. This includes developing policies, supervising professional and support staff, and recruiting and hiring new talent.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, including policy development and implementation.
  • Supervise professional and support staff, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Recruit and hire new talent to join the team.
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer
