Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Building Electrician to join our team at GBi. As a Senior Building Electrician, you will be responsible for planning, studying, and evaluating electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning, studying, and evaluating electrical equipment and systems;
  • Conduct feasibility studies, short-circuit studies, design, operation, and performance studies of electrical components and systems;
  • Prepare cost estimates and design proposals for electrical systems and installations;
  • Design electrical circuits, components, networks, and installations;
  • Supervise the installation, modification, testing, and operation of electrical systems and equipment;
  • Support technicians, drafters, and junior and intermediate engineers.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience;
  • Have experience in consulting engineering, in a similar position;
  • Have experience in commercial and institutional projects;
  • Be able to effectively represent the company to its clients;
  • Have a good command of French, both spoken and written;
  • Have knowledge of the following software: Word, Excel, and other lighting calculation software (AGI32) and Arc Flash study software.
