Your Responsibilities:
  • Participate actively in planning, studying, and evaluating electrical equipment and systems for diverse building projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, short-circuit analyses, design reviews, operational assessments, and performance evaluations of electrical components, equipment, and electronic communication systems.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, design proposals for electrical systems and installations, and generate clear and concise technical reports.
  • Design intricate circuits, components, networks, and electrical installations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, testing, and operation of electrical systems and devices, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to technicians, drafters, junior, and intermediate engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Hold active membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on building projects.
  • Have a proven track record of success in consulting engineering, specifically within a similar role.
  • Possess extensive experience in commercial and institutional construction projects.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate fluency in French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software applications, including Word, Excel, lighting calculation software (AGI32), and Arc Flash study software.
