About the Role

Wood Wyant is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Electrical Tests: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults in electrical appliances.
  • Repair Electrical Components: Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair or replace faulty electrical components.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose faults in electrical appliances using testing devices and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient repair.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their electrical appliances.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Other trades certificate or diploma, with experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including electronic settings.
  • Transportation and Travel: Valid driver's license and vehicle supplied by employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and organized.
