About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at New Tech Appliance LTD. As an Appliance Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical appliances to identify faults and defects.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues using testing devices and equipment.
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs for customers.
  • Advise customers on work performed and the condition of their equipment.
  • Use specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical appliance repair.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Own transportation for work-related travel.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of electrical appliances and equipment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
