About the Role

Wood Wyant is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex electrical appliances in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and defects in electrical appliances.
  • Refer to technical manuals and schematics to repair and replace faulty components, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, using testing devices and equipment to identify the root cause of the problem.
  • Advise customers on the work performed and the condition of the equipment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to various locations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, when required.
  • Physical stamina to work in a variety of environments, including industrial settings, and to lift and move equipment as needed.
