Job Title: Housing Grant and Funding Analyst

Job Summary:

Metro Vancouver Housing is seeking a highly skilled Housing Grant and Funding Analyst to support affordable housing development projects and strategic portfolio development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, research, and grant writing, with a passion for affordable housing and innovative funding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare cost-benefit analyses for funding strategies and present cost estimates, revenue projections, and return on investment analysis.
  2. Prepare grants and funding proposals, obtaining necessary information from project teams and effectively communicating project goals, requirements, and impacts.
  3. Monitor and report on grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with grant application requirements and objectives.
  4. Research and identify external funding opportunities that align with project objectives.
  5. Prepare research and analysis to support strategy work and opportunities for innovation.
  6. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, supplemented by experience in grant writing.
  2. Considerable knowledge of standard statistical and analytical methodology.
  3. Considerable knowledge of departmental functions, objectives, and procedures.
  4. Ability to conduct research, analyze, and present information effectively.
  5. Ability to identify and define data requirements and gather, organize, and interpret data.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
