About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Yarrow Limited Partnership. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Patient Care: Provide basic care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Patient Health: Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any changes to healthcare staff.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' rooms are clean and safe, and report any hazards or concerns to healthcare staff.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications: Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and immunization records.
