Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring patients receive nutritious and appealing meals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and report any concerns to healthcare staff.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patients are safely moved and positioned.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patients' rooms are tidy and organized.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records required.
