Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
