About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Thumka Holding Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, scour pots and pans, and keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and package take-out food.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Operate conventional ovens, deep fryers, electronic cash registers, food dispensers, and grills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
