Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at DEGA Holdings Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and repetitive tasks.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, urban area.
