About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Charan Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and package take-out food for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used and restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Team Support: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, Indigenous people, or mature workers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
