Key Responsibilities- Plant Production and Quality Control
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant quality and increase yields
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Staff Supervision and Training
- Lead and motivate a team of nursery staff to achieve production goals
- Provide training and coaching to staff on horticultural practices and techniques
- Inventory Management and Ordering
- Manage inventory levels and order materials and stock as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Worksite Environment and Safety
- Ensure a safe and healthy worksite environment for staff and visitors
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce the risk of injury and illness
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a nursery or greenhouse setting
- Worksite Environment
- Ability to work in a hot and outdoors environment

- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
