Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects for public and private clients across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide technical direction
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and client deliverables
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop solutions
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including piping, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and safety
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Manitoba or eligibility to obtain within six months
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Expert knowledge of industrial and building processes, including applicable codes and standards
  • Strong working knowledge of building plumbing, drainage, service piping systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning design, and energy calculations using proprietary software packages
