Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects, leading multidisciplinary project teams, and developing public and private sector client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage mechanical engineering projects for public and private clients across the company.
  • Lead and provide technical direction to multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients.
  • Contribute to the development of business opportunities and proposals.
  • Prepare capital construction cost estimates and technical reports.
Requirements
  • A degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Licensed to practice as a professional engineer in Manitoba or eligible to be licensed within six months.
  • A minimum of 15 years' of relevant work experience.
  • Expert knowledge of industrial and building processes, including applicable codes and standards.
  • Strong working knowledge in building plumbing, drainage, service piping systems, heating, ventilating and air conditioning design, and energy calculations using proprietary software packages.
